Barbara Herard Herard started out 20 years ago, as an educator and precinct delegate in District 17-16 (N. Rosedale Park in the 14th Congressional District). Her platform is to implement within our citizens a sense of pride by a total revitalization of downtown Detroit spreading out to 8 Mile Road. Herard's passion for youth would be revised-by going into our schools and uplifting their educational advantages for college and/or careers-bringing them the many opportunities in the media, on her weekly WHPR Comcast Cable Ch. 72 TV, and 88.1 FM Radio broadcasts, where they can voice their opinions and sharpen their communication skills. Also, she will implement neighborhood crime stoppers, city-wide health care, training, housing, employment, business opportunities, and retraining aid for the homeless, while looking into the needs of our seniors and more nursing home care specialization.
